THALIA & HERMANN
Just us and the people we love.
Not every couple dreams of a room filled with a hundred people.
Thalia and Hermann certainly didn't.
Naturally shy and happiest away from the spotlight, they wanted their wedding to feel comfortable, personal and completely their own.
So they got married at home.
Their guest list was made up of the people closest to them, the setting was familiar and everything about the day felt beautifully understated.
There was no pressure to perform for a crowd and no need to turn quiet moments into big ones.
For us, photographing a wedding like this means becoming quieter too.
Giving people space. Watching rather than directing. Recognising that a small glance or a hand reaching for another can tell just as much of a story as the loudest celebration.
Thalia and Hermann didn't need a big wedding.
They simply needed their people, a place that felt like home and each other.
Sometimes that's more than enough.
