A whole weekend under African skies.

Some weddings are over before you've quite realised they've begun.

Kayla and Ciaran had other ideas.

They escaped to Khuthaba Bush Lodge, gathered their favourite people and turned their wedding into an entire weekend in the African bush.

There was no rush and very little formality for formality's sake. Just two people having an enormous amount of fun getting married, surrounded by friends, family and a landscape that didn't need much decorating.

It was playful. Relaxed. Occasionally a little wild.

Exactly the sort of wedding where we can stop worrying about creating moments and concentrate on catching them.

And then the sun disappeared.

Away from the city lights, the African night sky took over and gave us one final opportunity. Kayla and Ciaran beneath a sky full of stars, with the Milky Way stretching above them.

Not a bad way to end a wedding day.

Or, in their case, a wedding weekend.
